Four Decades of Truck Part Expertise

Family Owned. Community Driven.

A Legacy Built on Trust & Truck Expertise

School Street Light Truck Parts is a family-owned business founded in 1980, specializing in domestic U.S.-made light truck parts, drivetrain components, and automotive recycling. For more than four decades, we’ve been a trusted source for used and new truck parts, serving customers throughout the region with knowledge, integrity, and reliability.

The business was founded by Ronald Belley, whose work ethic and commitment to helping others shaped the company into a neighborhood landmark. Ron believed in doing things the right way—earning trust, supporting local businesses, and sharing his expertise freely. His influence extended well beyond the shop through decades of mentorship and service, including his long-standing role on the Nashoba Valley Technical High School Automotive Advisory Board, where he supported students and technical education beginning in 1986.

As the business grew, School Street continued expanding its technical capabilities and focusing more heavily on the light truck market. In 1986, we began specializing in trucks—a turning point that helped define the company’s identity and the customer base we proudly support today.

Over the years, that focus led to deeper drivetrain specialization. In 1993, we began offering differential rebuilding, followed by transfer case rebuilding in 2009, allowing us to support customers with not only replacement parts, but also complete drivetrain solutions. In 2022, we expanded further into axle housing repair, adding another layer of specialty services for
customers with hard-to-solve issues and work-related vehicles that need to stay on the road.

Today, Ron’s legacy continues through his sons. Steve Belley leads day-to-day operations at the counter, helping customers find the right parts with the kind of knowledge that only comes from decades in the industry. His brother Craig brings deep hands-on expertise in transfer cases, differentials, and drivetrain rebuilding—providing technical solutions for even the most
challenging applications.

Most recently, we’ve expanded our driveline capabilities with Darrell Lancto, a respected industry expert leading our in-house driveshaft services. Beginning in 2025, School Street now offers custom driveshaft fabrication, modification, dynamic balancing, and repair, including solutions for obsolete and hard-to-find applications.

More than 40 years later, School Street Light Truck Parts remains guided by Ronald Belley’s core values: hard work, honesty, technical excellence, and helping people succeed.
